Right before he dies under the flaming wreckage of a plane, Darnell asks the viewer to tell his parents that he loved them and that he wishes he could've said goodbye.
When Darnell and Pico are leaving the school, Darnell says he's going to North Philly to tell his father about what happened at the Playground with the Ghettobots. He then tells Pico to come over to his house later to use a turntable bought by his mother with her child support check.
Trivia
Based on how Darnell has to leave Center City and go to North Philly to talk to his father, it is implied Darnell's parents are divorced.
When Nene attempts to die by suicide through slicing her wrist open with a razor, her mother knocks on the door and asks what's going on. When she replies that it's nothing, her mother is not convinced and suspects she is spraying paint on her walls. After Nene convinces her otherwise, she then leaves to head over to her own mother's house.
In the Tom Fulp demo of Pico 2, interacting with a car near Pico's house prompts Pico to say, "My dad loves that car more than he loves me! I hope he crashes the damn thing into a brick wall!", implying that Pico and his father do not have a good relationship.
When Alucard is confronted by Pico and Cassandra, he states that his father experimented on him as a baby, which resulted in his father ending up in prison. He states that he joined the Goth Punks due to feeling as though his father only thought of him as an experiment and not his son. Pico talks some sense into him, and Alucard says he will talk to his father about it.
Darnell gets crushed by a plane's debris, which starts a humongous fire, causing him to die and go to Heaven. Once he reaches Heaven, he is immolated by God with a flamethrower.
God is mentioned by Timmy many times. He tells Pico that he is very religious and that his parents pray for God that he survived the shooting in the school. When Pico beats him up, he tells Pico it is not God's way.
