The intercom man is a minor character from Pico's Cousin. He is an employee who operates the intercom of the shopping mall that Otis visits, and he is kidnapped by Sandstorm at the start of the game.

The intercom man is an adult male with blond hair and stylized white eyes. He wears a gray long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, and red shoes, which are damaged when he is taken at gunpoint.
Personality
The man speaks over the intercom in a cheerful manner, happily informing patrons about upcoming sales. He also seems to like burgers along with the clerk, as shown in the alternate ending. Other than this, almost nothing is known about him.
History
Pico's Cousin
In Pico's Cousin, the intercom man happily greets the customers with the typical sales pitch before he is suddenly interrupted by an intruder. When Otis heads to the intercom room, he finds the man being held at the mercy of Sandstorm, who murders him in cold blood.
However, in the alternate ending, he is revealed to be alive and piloting the helicopter that saved Otis from the mall explosion. He has a conversation with the clerk from the candy store (who also survived the explosion), mentioning how the Alien Hominid ad they aired at Otis' house cost thousands, while also believing that the boy "will be effective against terror acts". However, when Otis discovers the truth, the intercom man ends up being among the causalities on the helicopter as it explodes in midair.

The clerk is very rude and aggressive, shown by his interactions with Otis and how he threatens to "blow his brains out" if he says that he's going to rob his store. However, in the alternate ending, he actually shows regret in threatening kids' lives, including Otis. He also appears to like burgers along with the intercom man, as shown in the alternate ending.

Pico's Cousin
In Pico's Cousin, the clerk operates the candy store inside the mall. When Otis politely buys a candy bar, he begrudgingly hands it over without much resistance. After the mall explodes, he is presumed dead.
In the alternate ending, he is revealed to be co-piloting the helicopter that saved Otis, alongside the intercom man. He also expresses some regret in his hostile behavior, not wanting to shoot any more kids for the sake of a training exercise. Hungry for some burgers, he tries asking his superior, Sarge, where he wants to eat and accidentally reveals to Otis that he's alive. After Otis finds out he was being manipulated by government agents, he angrily acts against and murders them, including the clerk.

Physical appearance
Gibbons is a dark-skinned boy with messy black hair wearing a yellow shirt with long green sleeves and bright red shoes with light yellow soles and green buttons. He has stylized white ovals for eyes.
Personality
Gibbons is notably the only person Otis comes across in the mall that is helpful to him. However, like the other people working at the mall, he's assisting in the military's training program for children, which involves children being in very dangerous situations that are staged. He is quick to judge the small size of Otis' pistols, and it's implied he has a liking for sweets.

Pico's Cousin
In Pico's Cousin, Gibbons appears at the "Lost and Found" section of the mall. When Otis passes by him, Gibbons comments on the small size of his guns. After he introduces himself, Gibbons offers Otis a pair of AK-47s if he can get him a candy bar, figuring Otis could use some more firepower. He then leaves to the bathroom. Once Otis gets the candy bar, he gives it to Gibbons in exchange for the larger guns. Gibbons is not seen afterwards.

Sarge is a minor character from Pico's Cousin. He is an F.B.I. agent who saves Otis from the shopping mall explosion.

Sarge has brown hair, small stubble and wears a black suit, red shirt, blue sunglasses and an earpiece.
Personality
Sarge is an F.B.I. agent who appears to be calm and rather stoic, except that he seems to be afraid of Alien Hominid, proved by how Otis mentioned the game, and he mistook it for the actual creature. He also seems to have no problem in helping the military train children, as revealed in the alternate ending.

Pico's Cousin
In Pico's Cousin, Sarge appears at the end of the game, saving Otis from the mall's explosion. Once Otis is on the ship, Sarge asks him how he survived, which he replies that he simply picked up a gun and fought. Otis then realizes that he forgot to pick up the Alien Hominid game, which Sarge responds with shock, asking where the extraterrestrial went. Otis clarifies that he was talking about the PS2 game, to which Sarge sheepishly retracts his outburst.
In the alternate ending, Sarge asks Otis what type of games he plays. He is interrupted by the clerk, who is going to ask him where he wants to eat before he realizes Otis is sitting right here. After being outed, Sarge then reveals to Otis that the whole mall incident was really a test made by the military to train children for greater threats. Otis gets angry at the sheer recklessness of the agent's actions. Sarge tries to activate a device to sedative Otis, telling him that "it's for [his] own good". However, Otis quickly pulls out his AK-47s, shooting and killing everyone onboard the helicopter, including Sarge.
