El Mandiblo is a main boss and one of the antagonists in Pico's Cousin. He is the ghostly spirit of a once-dead Spanish terrorist, now working under Gangrene "for his country".
General information
Physical appearance
El Mandiblo first appears in the darkness as a smiling face with menacing red eyes and sharp white teeth. Once light fills the room he is currently in, he's revealed to merely be a transparent orb of ectoplasm.
Personality
El Mandiblo is the malicious spirit of a long-dead domestic terrorist of Spanish descent. He enjoys scaring and devouring any helpless victims, all the while taking advantage of the pure darkness that surrounds him. He shows great valor for his country and also seems to really value his teeth, best seen after Otis shoots them out of his mouth.
History
Pico's Cousin
In Pico's Cousin, El Mandiblo faces Otis in a dark atmosphere with a toothy grin, intent of striking fear before devouring him. However, this tactic is shot down as Otis barely flinches at his presence and even insults him. El Mandiblo, now aggravated, attacks him. As a result, his sharp teeth are shot out, causing him great pain. Now humiliated, El Mandiblo gives up and flees, never to be seen again.
Because of the alternate ending's revelation, it is possible that El Mandiblo wasn't really a ghost, but rather a very complex hologram or special effect. However, this is all left unexplained in the actual game.
