"Stop harassing me! I can sue you for harassment, ya know!"
Alucard, Pico's School

Alucard is one of the primary antagonists of Pico's School. He is a member of the Goth Punks and the first boss of the game. He is a purple-skinned goth who possesses telekinetic powers due to his now-imprisoned father's inhumane experiments.

General information

Physical appearance

Alucard has lavender blue skin and a messy black Afro with a purple streak on the left side of his hair. He wears a gray sweater with a blue scarf wrapped across his torso, small black glasses and matching gray shoes with light blue symbols on each side. In MindChamber's redesign for a proposed Pico's School remake, he wears more leathery boots and has a bluer shade of glasses.

Personality

Alucard is a reclusive misfit who can be found sulking around in the corner, minding his own business. Despite his impressive supernatural powers, he doesn't have many friends, and he is easily manipulated by Cassandra to join the Goth Punks. Alucard is usually quiet and serene, but when he is threatened with the possibility of death, he quickly panics at the thought and cowers away in paralyzing fear. Humorously, he even goes so far as to threaten legal action for being harassed.

In Pico's School: Love Conquers All, it is revealed that Alucard carries a grudge against his father who experimented on him as a child, resulting in him obtaining psychic powers and presumably turning his skin blue. Alucard, feeling used and mistreated by his father, opens up to Pico and Cassandra about his frustrations and insecurities with his life after said experiments and wishes that he had a normal childhood and relationship with his father. When he's calmed down, he decides to talk it out with him, showing that despite suffering so much pain while under his care, he at least is willing to forgive.

Abilities

One of Alucard's unique abilities are his psychic powers, brought by being experimented on when he was young. He notably possesses the power of telekinesis and is capable of levitating objects and move people around him with little effort. He is also able to create an invisible forcefield to protect himself from harm, though it briefly dematerializes if he loses focus. According to Pico's School: Love Conquers All, he might potentially have the power of invisibility, though he isn't quite there in actually achieving it.

History

Pico's School

In Pico's School, Alucard appears as the first boss, who has stolen the school key to trap the other students. He is introduced to Pico by Cassandra, who states they don't know each other because Pico is always "too busy being popular" to get to know him. Once she finishes talking and leaves, the battle starts. If Pico hasn't picked up the gun yet, Alucard will throw a corpse at him, which pushes him back into the hallway.

Alucard has a telekinetic shield that blocks Pico's bullets. His primary method of attack is to throw corpses at Pico, which he needs to blast out of the air. His main pattern is to throw one corpse high, one corpse mid-height, and one low, and when the three are destroyed, Alucard appears distressed and will lower his shield, allowing Pico to shoot him. Once Alucard is down to half his energy, he will drop a chair down on Pico that he has to blast out of the air as well. This process is repeated until Alucard’s energy meter drops all the way down.

Once he is defeated, Alucard uses his telekinesis to hide behind various chairs in the classroom. He gives Pico the school key and tells him to leave him alone, and threatens to sue him for harassment. Pico can choose to either exit the classroom and spare him, or shoot off the chairs and kill him, unlocking the "OVERKILL!" medal.

Pico 2

While Alucard does not physically appear in Pico 2, he is mentioned by Timmy to have been his old classmate.

Pico Roulette

In Pico Roulette, Alucard appears as a playable character.

Pico's School: Love Conquers All

In Pico's School: Love Conquers All, Alucard still appears in the second classroom. When confronted by Pico and Cassandra, he explains that his father experimented on him as a baby, which resulted in him ending up in prison; this is the reason why he has telekinetic powers. He reveals that he only joined the Goth Punks because he felt that his father only saw him as an experiment and not his son. Pico then talks some sense into him, and he says he will talk to his father about it, which he happily accepts.

Unlike the other Goth Punks (besides Cassandra), his real name was not revealed.

Quotes

"Please leave me alone! Here, take my school key. Now go away!"
Alucard, Pico's School
"I have nothing more to say without my lawyer present."
Alucard, Pico's School
"My father experimented on me as a baby, and now he's in prison. When we talk on the phone, he's only ever interested in one thing... 'How is your telekinesis going? Can you lift cars yet? Can you bend light?'"
Alucard, Pico's School: Love Conquers All
"It's ok, Cassandra, we all make mistakes. I was too quick to jump at the chance to destroy the world. I'm gonna tell my dad how I feel, maybe he'll start to understand that I'm more than his experiment."
Alucard, Pico's School: Love Conquers All
"Thanks, Pico! Oh, here's the key to the security gate. I locked it earlier to trap people inside, like a dick. Real sorry."

Trivia

  • Alucard's name is "Dracula" spelled backwards. Although unclear, it's possible this could be a reference to the character Alucard from the Castlevania video game series.
    • However, this may not be his actual name, but rather a nickname, as confirmed by Tom Fulp.[1]
  • Currently, Alucard's canonical fate is unknown, as it was ultimately left to the player's choice in Pico's School.
  • When under great distress or confusion, Alucard's glasses appear to flash, possibly revealing his eyes.
  • In Pico Roulette, Alucard's death animation shows his brain floating in midair.
  • In Pico's School: Love Conquers All, Alucard gives the implication that he has the potential ability of invisibility (which involves bending light), though he says he isn't quite there in actually achieving it.
  • Tom Fulp confirmed that Alucard's favorite music artists are Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Mentallo and the Fixer, Haujobb, and The Soft Moon.[2]
