Ozmose is one of the primary antagonists of Pico's Cousin 2. He is a member of the Neo Goth Punks, and the cousin of Alucard. Much like Alucard, he is also a purple-skinned goth gifted with telekinetic powers and the first boss of the game.

General information

Physical appearance

Ozmose has Blue Bell skin, pure black eyes and dark gray messy hair with a dark blue streak on the left side of his hair. He wears a blue long-sleeve shirt, dark blue jeans and gray sneakers with blue shoelaces and symbols. He also appears to have bluish purple hands.

Personality

Not much is known about Ozmose's personality, but it can be assumed that he is a vengeful person, judging by him trying to kill Otis due to his cousin Pico threatening or ending the life of his own cousin, Alucard. He also appears to be boastful and self-confident, even claiming that his powers surpass Alucard's while also stating that his power of being able to move matter through walls is a "neat trick".

Abilities

Ozmose possesses the psychic ability of telekinesis similar to his cousin Alucard. He can levitate objects around him and move them around in a familiar fashion, however, his powers may also surpass Alucard's. In Pico's Cousin 2, he has the unique power of intangibility, where he "displace [the] matter" of any living thing and move them through solid materials, as demonstrated when he kidnapped Otis' family members. He also can turn himself invisible, something even his cousin couldn't master.

History

Pico's Cousin 2

In Pico's Cousin 2, Ozmose appears as the first boss, who can found beside the employee bathroom. He introduces himself to Otis, revealing that he was the one who kidnapped his father and grandmother through the use of his telekinetic abilities. After their brief conversation, the battle starts.

Ozmose will fly around the room and vanish in thin air completely. His primary method of attack consists of throwing plates and dishes at Otis, which he needs to shoot in midair. His main pattern is flying across the room, and telepathically tossing a certain amount of dishes before rematerializing. Whenever he re-appears, Otis must shoot him quickly before he disappears again. This process is repeated until Ozmose's energy meter is completely empty.

Once he is defeated, a bright flash fills the screen as Ozmose's body has dropped onto the ground dead. Much like Pico did before, Otis has the option to shoot at his corpse as a nod to the "Overkill!" Easter egg from Pico's School.

• Ozmose's name is derived from the word osmosis, a type of diffusion that involves the movement of molecules across a membrane between two areas of high and low concentration. His powers allude to this, as he can displace matter through solid surfaces.
• In the dialogue before his boss battle, Ozmose's name is spelled as "Ozmoze".
• Taking the events of Pico's School: Love Conquers All into account, it's possible Ozmose gained his telekinetic powers from experimentation alongside Alucard.
  • Theoretically, Ozmose could also be a nickname and his real name is unknown.
