Otis is back and this time he's going to a retirement home! - Newgrounds Description
Pico's Cousin 2 is a point-and-click Flash game created by Magna with additional art by poxpower and released on March 28, 2005. It acts as the direct sequel to the spinoff game Pico's Cousin, as it follows Otis on a new adventure as he attempts to save his family from the next generation of Goth-Punks interrupting his visit at a local retirement home.
Walkthrough
The game begins with Otis in the basement, rocking out on his electric guitar, when his father shows up to inform him they're about to visit his grandmother at her retirement home, Shady Acorns. Otis is reluctant, claiming out that the "place smells like horse shit"; his father corrects him, stating that it's "old people shit". On the way there, Otis' dad elaborates that they're visiting to congratulate her for winning the retirement home's knitting contest, much to Otis' boredom. They arrive at Shady Acorns and enter room 323, where they are welcomed lovingly by the grandmother, who has a special present for Otis. However, before any proceedings could occur, the loving family is swiftly kidnapped by an unknown force, leaving Otis all alone to search for them.
After you leave room 323, go right and head into room 322. Search the first drawer, and you'll receive a cafeteria food pass (you're going to need it). Then, keep going right until you reach the cafeteria. Use the pass and the orderly will give you a plate of "food" (actually shit). Head down, and you'll approach one of the orderlies. Give him the plate, and you'll get the key for the meeting room. But look in between the two chairs, there you'll find a quarter. Unlock the door to the meeting room and search the plants; you find a hammer and another quarter. Head forward and into the employee bathroom; lift the toilet lid, and you'll find the third and final quarter. Head back to the cafeteria area and to the vending machine, where you'll be able to buy a soda (this will help replenish your health). Go back to the meeting room and, just outside the bathroom, use the hammer to break the glass protecting the shotgun. Pick up the shotgun and go right.
Inside the next room, you'll find Ozmose, the psychic cousin of Alucard. Ozmose flies around and vanishes in thin air. His pattern of attack is throwing six dishes at you, which you will need to shoot out of the air. Whenever he appears, you have to shoot him quickly before he vanishes again. Once you get his energy meter all the way down, Ozmose will fall on the ground, defeated.
Once you leave the room, a quick-time event occurs, where you must quickly press one of the arrow keys to avoid getting crushed by a giant leg. After that close call, Otis realizes he has to head to the roof to save his family. You now have the option to accessorize Otis in the Lost and Found room. Head right until you face Cyclops' unnamed cousin. After a vulgar conversation, another quick-time event is activated; press one of the arrow keys quickly, and you'll kill the pink-haired punk. Pick up his Uzi and his flashlight. Go into the Management room and search inside with the flashlight; open the second drawer in the desk and take the paper inside. The paper contains a riddle for the password to the next security door: 1309 (the first number is -9 + 10, the second is 9 divided by 3, the third is 1,262 * 0 and the fourth is 3 * 3). Enter the code for the door and go inside.
There, you face a kid dressed in a familiar ninja garb, wielding a large katana sword; they claim to have defeated and captured Pico, who is currently held hostage with Otis' family, but a doubtful Otis believes that Pico would have defeated the stranger easily. However, the ninja reveals that they were defeated by Pico before: this is Hanzo, back from the dead and augmented as a cyborg by the Penilians. Defeating him is easier than before — just shoot him once he glides across the screen, if you are fast enough. Once you kill Hanzo (again), continue towards the hallway and go into the janitor's closet.
There, Otis is floored once he meets an unexpected foe: Alien Hominid. While he starts fanboying over the fact that a character he thought was fictional actually exists, the moment is cut short as the Hominid begins to attack. The Hominid will jump around the room, shooting wildly at you, so you have to respond accordingly. After killing the Hominid, take the key from his corpse, along with his laser pistol. Exit the closet and shoot one of the air vents; there is a "Medicinal Herb" inside, which will come in handy for the Final Boss.
Head to the rooftop and you find the mastermind behind this ordeal: Damien, the leader of the Neo Goth Punks. After some more smack-talk, Damien will kill his goth-kid cronies, much like Cassandra before him. Damien has three primary methods of attack. The first attack is to fire an electrical blast from his antennae, which cannot be shot out of the air, but which you can see coming by his antennae charging up. Shoot his antennae to negate the attack. The second attack is to jump high in the air and stomp on the roof, creating a shockwave. Quickly press one of the arrow keys to jump up and avoid the ripple effect. Finally, Damien will throw a piece of the TV antenna, which you will need to shoot out of the air. To defeat him, concentrate your fire on the "chest globes" (if you know what I mean), while keeping your eyes open for the other attacks, repeating the process until you finally defeat Damien. In a quick cutscene, Otis goes to unlock the cage, saving his loved ones, who applaud him for his efforts. However, the fight isn't over as a Penilian U.F.O approaches the rooftop, and you'll have to shoot at the right time before you lose all your health.
The ending cutscene then plays: thanks to the events that occurred, Otis and his family are forced to move out of town to avoid the wrath of the Penilians. While Otis isn't thrilled about "starting over again", he understands the gravity of the situation. Pico reassures him that they will be ready when the time comes. Otis then remembers that his grandmother had a present for him, which she finally gives to him. The game ends with Otis' finally getting his long-awaited present: the Alien Hominid video game for the PlayStation 2.
Alternate ending
The ending cutscene plays out as normal; only this time, it takes place inside Otis' grandmother's room at Shady Acorns and the dialogue is slightly different.

Trivia
- Otis has noticeably lost significant weight compared to his appearance in the previous game. When asked about the physical change, Magna replied that Otis' dad had put him through some intense training to help protect him from anyone trying to take advantage of his abilities.[1]
- In this game, the Penilians' plans and motivations are fully explained. In the final battle, Damien reveals their suspicions of Pico's family having a "warrior's gene" that makes them naturally adept fighters. As such, the school massacre in Pico's School was masterminded to eliminate Pico as a threat (either through capture or execution). Once that failed, the Penilians then attempted to subdue several members of Pico's family at once.
- Although the game was a collaborative effort between various prominent Newgrounds members, its canonical status is questionable and left unconfirmed. However, despite this, the game was given Tom Fulp's approval, and he has never posted anything to dispute its canonicity.
- When you use the medicinal herb, Sean Paul's "Get Busy" can be heard playing in the background.
- The music played in the end credits is the song "A Chance Meeting" from the 1999 Squaresoft game Threads of Fate.
- Aside from Pico, there are multiple references to Newgrounds media spread throughout the game:
- The main setting of the game, Shady Acorns Retirement Villa, is the same one used for the Flash game Disorderly, which was co-created by Tom Fulp and Zeebarf. The main lead has a small cameo on the "employee of the month" photo.
- MindChamber's Alloy also makes a cameo in the cafeteria room. If you click on him, he transforms into his motorcycle form.
- Alien Hominid makes a cameo appearance as an enemy boss; he's also said to be a pet of the Penilians. Otis himself ends up getting a copy of the Alien Hominid video game that he searched for in the first game.
- The Penilian U.F.O is the exact same one used in UFA.
- The car driven by Otis' grandmother is the same one seen in Crazy Shuttle, a flash game created by Tom Fulp under his BizarroTom account.
