The following is a hypothetical timeline based around the Pico storyline. This timeline utilizes both actual evidence and conjecture, so expect a few discrepancies with certain entries.
Ancient past
- Samurai Asshole: Samurai Asshole avenges the accidental death of his master, who had choked on a piece of fried chicken. He slays the dragon deity Draco and commanders a spaceship, which is noticed by the Penilians who plan to invade Earth in the future once the people lost faith in the gods. He then slaughters a village of "Smorfs", and his fate is left unknown.
20XX
Original Timeline
- Darnell Plays With Fire: Darnell teaches the audience about fire, using explosions across the city of Des Moines as an example. Suddenly, an airplane crash-lands and the ensuing explosion sends the flaming debris flying towards him, crushing and killing him. - Unknown
- Nene Interactive Suicide: After going out on a date with "Jordan Katalano" one night, Nene wakes up the next morning to find that she's contracted herpes and decides that suicide is the only option to escape embarrassment. - Unknown
- Pico's School: Goth kid Cassandra begins her plan of world domination through a bloody massacre, and everyone in the school is killed except for Darnell, Nene, and Pico, who thwarts her plans on his own. - 2000[note 1]
- Pico 2 (unreleased): The Ghettobots have been sent by the Penilians to kill Pico, and he must stop them. - 3 days after Pico's School[note 2]
- Pico vs Bear: Pico is recruited by a secret agency to assassinate psychotic kids' show host Big Brown Bary and his cronies. - Unknown (probably not long after Pico's School)
- Pico vs. Überkids: The Überkids are created by the Human Genome Project and brought to replace the deceased students. Pico, Nene, and Darnell challenge them to a game of Rock Paper Scissors Roulette and win through pure luck. - At least 6 months after Pico's School
- Resident Pico: A zombie apocalypse is taking place in the streets of Philly, so Pico takes action and saves the day by killing all the zombies and their hulking leader. - Unknown
- Friday Night Funkin': Boyfriend, who had once dated Pico in the past, pursues the love of his girlfriend while beating many opponents in a series of intense music battles.[note 3] - Around 6 years after Pico's School
"Love Conquers All" Timeline
- Pico's School: Love Conquers All: Cassandra attempts to start her revolution, but is stopped by Pico before any innocent people could die. He then befriends her and her fellow Goth Punks and introduces her to his boyfriend. - 2000
2100
- UFA: After defending his planet for years, Pico finally dies of old age, which leaves Earth wide open for a wide scale attack by the Penilians.

- ↑ Despite the game being released in 1999, the opening text in UFA establishes that the events of Pico's School took place in 2000, just one year after the game's release date.
- ↑ Although Pico 2 picks up immediately after the ending of the first game, in a form of retroactive continuity, Pico states in the opening cutscene that the events of Pico's School only happened a week ago, despite the ending showing that the Ghettobots joined the class six months later.
- ↑ Due to Tankman's insulting comment in relation to Pico ("Don't you have a school to shoot up?"), it can be concluded that Friday Night Funkin' takes place in the original timeline, as the school shooting never happens in Pico's School: Love Conquers All.
Speculation

- Since Darnell appears in future games, it is possible that Darnell Plays With Fire is all just a visual presentation made for his classroom due to the use of real images as the background. This would also explain why Darnell is not present at Pico's School, as he must have been suspended for the violent content.
- Since Nene is also seen in future games, it's possible that "razorblade" was the canonical choice made in Nene Interactive Suicide since she does not definitively die on-screen in that scenario.
- In the unreleased Pico 2 demo, in the My Big Joystick Arcade location, there is an arcade machine that is labeled "UFA". This implies that UFA exists as a fictional game within the Pico universe.
