The Playground is a location in Pico 2. It is used as the tutorial area. In the tutorial, Pico talks to Timmy, then practices his melee and shooting skills with Darnell, until the Ghettobots appear and beat up Darnell.
While in this area, you cannot move outside the Playground until you finish the tutorial. If you don't punch or shoot at Darnell at least once, you will not be able to proceed in the game.
Trivia
The Ghettobots cutscene only takes place when you stop shooting. If you hold the mouse button while shooting at Darnell and don't release the mouse, the cutscene will never play.
The same spray paint would later be reused in a music video for the song "No Pierdas Tiempo" by the musical duo Zion & Lennox. Parts of the music video were animated by MindChamber.

McGibbles is a fast-food-chain in Center City. It can't be entered in-game.
In Pico 2's story, the Ghettobots are enrolled in Pico'sschool with the McGibbles' Kids program, which seems to be a program that employs kids and people from the ghetto to get jobs or go to school when they are scarce. But by DJ's word, McGibbles' is feeding them shit, the employees are paid minimal wage, and most of the profits goes to "some guy in a skyscraper."
On MindChamber's Twitter, it was revealed that inside a McGibbles' building, it advertises a combo pack in a poster with fries, a milkshake, and a hamburger. It has three types of burgers: the "Krusty Buns", the "Salty Clams", and the "Big Knocker". It is unknown what their purpose would be aside from possibly restoring Pico's health.
Trivia
McGibbles' is a parody of the popular fast food chain McDonald's.
The flags and symbol of the restaurant are a clear reference to Nazi Germany, due to the black, white, and red color scheme.
Since it is a fast-food-chain, the McGibbles' building seen in Center City is most likely an office, since it has the McGibbles' logo.

Ditto, but the interior.
911 Records is a location in Center City. You can buy records from the clerk for $8, but only if you have a DJ bag.

The Gym is a location in Center City.
You can punch the punching bag. While it does nothing, this was meant to increase your punching stat. It is unknown how the punching stat would function. It either would've given Pico more damage with his fist, or would allow him to punch harder stuff, like the Gym teacher says.

Buy & Leave! (also known as Nene's Store), is a store chain in Center City, where they sell "old food, crap for .99¢, and Big Swallow".
Trivia
Buy & Leave! might have been inspired by 7-Eleven, an American chain of convenience stores.
The "Big Swallow" beverage could also be a parody of the Big Gulp line of fountain drinks, which is also owned by 7-Eleven.
In Newgrounds Rumble, Buy & Leave! would appear as a playable stage for the fighting game, under the name of "Nene's Store".

My Big Joystick Arcade is a location in the cancelled Pico 2 found in Center City. Its interior can only be seen in the files of the unfinished Westbound Subway boss fight.
Appearance
It has four arcade machines, two of them blank, while the other two are named "UFA" and "ASSASSIN". One of the machines is laying on the floor sideways. There is a counter, which there likely would've been an owner of the place. There is a strange black-and-yellow caution line on the floor, which presumably the owner would not allow Pico to go past it.
Trivia
The name "My Big Joystick" is a not-so-subtle innuendo for the penis.
The logo outside the building displays the famous character Pac-Man chasing Inky, one of the main ghosts from the arcade game.
Assassin is a Flash game series on Newgrounds that allows you to kill celebrities and pop culture icons.
The "UFA" arcade machine might imply that the game itself simply exists as a work of fiction in the Pico universe.

Broad Street is a location in Pico 2, presumably in North Philly. It is mentioned by Darnell, with him saying that he and his friends had found the Ghettobots there. You cannot access this area in the game, however, and it was reused in Resident Pico.
Applied Genetics Corp. is a location in Pico 2, presumably in North Philly. It is briefly seen during the scene where Darnell and his friends discover the Ghettobots. You cannot actually access this area in the game. It is unknown what role it would have played in the story, if any.
Darnell's room is an unused location in Pico 2. This room is impossible to get into without decompiling the game and editing the code.
Appearance
Darnell's room has an orange light coming from the left, due to the room being on fire. The room is very burnt, and it has the DJ turntable that Darnell mentioned. The room has two burnt figures on the floor: a cat and a bird. It also has a picture frame, which might be either a relative of Darnell or Darnell himself on the toilet while (possibly) naked.
Trivia
Inside the room, Darnell is standing still, presumably hinting at a cutscene of Pico testing the turntable while he watches.
Once Pico enters the room, he is trapped on the left side of the map, and a Pico clone will repeatedly enter the room, become a DJ, and repeat.
