Pico's Daycare is a game created by puggythecoolpug2020 and released on July 9, 2021. It is an alternative version of Pico's School where the story is instead set in a kindergarten, with all the main characters portrayed as children.
Unfortunately, it was deleted from Newgrounds for unknown reasons, likely due to its poor quality, with its release on Scratch the only remaining version of the game that's playable online.
Story
The story appears to be the same as the original Pico's School, but set in "Philly Daycare Center", with several changes made in order to make it more "childish":
- The teacher is teaching about the alphabet instead of apples and bananas.
- Boyfriend is the one that gives the gun to Pico and then leaves.
- Instead of Alucard, Pico fights a robot named "Robert".
- A blue-haired version of Cyclops without the eye patch, but instead of Pico killing him, he simply flies away.
- In the halls, Pico encouters a counterpart of Hanzo called "Pirate Ninja" who attacks with knives and black orbs.
- Caroline, Cassandra's sister, doesn't use her Penilian form to fight Pico. Instead, she uses a giant robot that her parents bought her when she was a baby.
- The ending is now completely different. In the aftermath, Pico appears crying outside the school. A police officer rescues him and what happened in primary school, and the massacre becomes public news.
Meanwhile, the Penilians admit that they were defeated, but promise to find another way to conquer Earth, ending the game.

Reception
The game had very mixed reviews, with a 3.24/5.00 rating on Newgrounds, with many saying that it is a good game and a funny parody, while others criticized its rough gameplay and recycling of characters and plot.
Despite this, the creator had planned making a sequel which would never happen.

- This game reuses music from Pico 2 and Pico's School DX, as well as the gameover music from Super Mario World.
- Most of the insults from the original game are softened here, since it is obvious that children are not taught to say bad words.
- Caroline refers to her own race simply as "Aliens".
- This game shows Pico meeting Boyfriend for the first time.
