Pico tangles with the shapeshifting Convict. - Newgrounds Description

Pico vs. Convict (titled onscreen as Pico vs. Convict: Middle School Mayhem) is an Adobe Flash animation created by Luis, and released on April 30, 2006. Uploaded on the first annual Pico Day, this short film stars Pico and Nene as they face off against the titular Convict, a mysterious shape-shifter who begins targeting them with very sinister intentions. The Flash instantly proved to be iconic, with Convict becoming a standout character in the Pico franchise after its release.

Plot

The movie begins with Pico sleeping on his desk in detention. He wakes up to see the teacher dead, with his throat slit. Pico finds a letter from Nene that says that the Convict has killed everyone in the school except for her, and promises that if he rescues her, she will "give him her pussy". Pico breaks out of the classroom before he bares witness to the Convict, standing right in front of him. He promptly transforms into Otis, also forming a gladiator mace in his hands. Now as Otis, the shape-shifter then strikes Pico in the face, causing him to bleed in pain. Before Pico could retaliate, the Convict immediately transforms into Big Brown Bary. Convict, as Bary, grabs Pico by his neck in a chokehold. Nene spots this, shocked, and diverts the shape-shifter's attention to her by flipping him the bird.

The Convict, now aggravated, lets go of Pico and transforms into Nene. After catching his breath, Pico speedily rushes to his locker and opens it, taking out his dual MAC-10s with a cheeky grin on his face. As he heads to the school cafeteria, he takes a look into the door window and is shocked to see two Nenes fighting each other. Eventually, one of the Nenes gains the upper hand and savagely beats the other into submission. Just as she is about to finish the other Nene with a knife, Pico intervenes and shoots her in the head, killing her instantly. As the other Nene stands up, battered and bruised, she proceeds to hug Pico.

However, she is revealed to be Convict in disguise and that Pico accidentally killed the real Nene. As the screen fades to black, the movie ends with Convict's red eyes still glowing before they suddenly close.

The Flash also earned Daily Feature and Weekly 3rd Place Awards, along with being featured on the front page. On Newgrounds, its most recent score was an average of 4.30/5.00, and it had maintained up to nearly 570,000 views.

Additionally, it was featured on the Pico Day 2006 collection. However, it would be taken down by Luis around December 2016, likely due to issues concerning the use of copyrighted music.
