Destroy Pico's competition to restore his place in the Portal! - Newgrounds Description
Pico's Blam Jam is a side-scrolling run and gun Flash game co-created by PivotGames, AlmightyHans & BasV and released on April 30, 2007. Uploaded on Pico Day with AlmightyHans acting as artist, BasV as programmer, and PivotGames as producer, the game follows Pico who finds himself no longer the top dog on Newgrounds. Seeing that he was being overshadowed by up-and-coming Flash creators, he decides to retaliate by eliminating the competition in order to restore his status.
Plot
The game opens with a cutscene: Pico browses the front page of Newgrounds and is shocked to discover that none of his Flash animations are on the "Top 10 of All Time" list. When he questions Tom Fulp about this and inquires him to pull rank and rectify it, he explains that other animators have taken Pico's place on the website, and that he can't intervene since as the "fair and just" CEO, he objectively judges each submission with a well-earned score. While Pico is nonplussed, Fulp offers him an alternate solution to his problem: if Pico can eliminate the competing artists and their creations, the only competition he will have will be with inexperienced "noobs", thus allowing Pico to make his comeback to the top 10. Now fully motivated, Pico sets out to blam the many Flash animators across Newgrounds: LegendaryFrog, David Firth, Krinkels and The Super Flash Bros..
